PFA Fans' POTY: Stewart nominated for award

Sunderland AFC striker Ross Stewart has been shortlisted for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Year award for 2021-22.

 

The Lads’ leading marksman has hit 25 goals and counting during his first full season on Wearside, and you can cast your vote for Stewart to win the accolade here – voting closes at 12pm on Friday 27 May.

 

The fans’ award is separate for each division in England including the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and the Women’s Super League, and Sunderland’s Scotsman has been nominated alongside Cheltenham Town’s Alfie May, Wigan Athletic’s Will Keane, Sheffield Wednesday’s Barry Bannan, Ipswich Town’s Wes Burns and MK Dons’ Scott Twine.
